The sauna with lake views was a fantastic way to unwind after a long day. The room was modern and spacious. Plus, amazing views of the lake! The overall cleanliness of the hotel was impressive.

We had an amazing time exploring the weird and wonderful Dimmuborgir area. The lava formations were like something out of a fairy tale! The hotel was the perfect retreat after our adventures. Our spacious room was modern, with fluffy bathrobes and a lovely coffee machine for cozy mornings.

My kids wished there were more activities for them to enjoy at the hotel.

Unexpected charm in nature's embrace

Waking up to stunning lake views with mountains in the backdrop was a comforting surprise. The on-site sauna with scenic backdrop was a perfect way to unwind after day adventures.

However, I had a minor issue with the heating system. it was a bit chilly during the night but didn't impact my overall experience too much.

my stay at fosshotel myvatn was wonderful! the junior suite offered stunning views of lake myvatn and was super comfortable. the breakfast was a highlight, with freshly baked pastries and a wide variety of selections, making it better than my previous stay in Reykjahlith.

excellent breakfast

my stay at fosshotel myvatn was fantastic! the location was perfect for visiting major waterfalls and other attractions like husavik. my junior suite had a long bath with a beautiful view, and the breakfast was excellent. also, the communication and effort from the wait staff really stood out to me. finding nearby amenities like a supermarket was a plus!

great service

Great location for couples, amazing views

The lake view room was unreal, really breathtaking, especially at sunset. The bartender went out of his way to mix a perfect Negroni for us, even though it wasn't on the menu.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but the quality matched the price.
